The Carte d’Or cuvée is the very expression of the Drappier style. With its very high proportion of Pinot Noir, one is almost tasting a Blanc de Noirs. Champagne with a fine aromatic richness, it opens with aromas of stoned fruits such as white vineyard peach. A spicy hint announces a powerful and complex palate. A vinous Champagne of lovely complexity with a characteristic note of quince jelly.

The nose brings to mind white peach and pear but also more floral notes such as peony. On the palate a mineral Champagne, lightly biscuity, creamy, supple and seductive.

A very complex, rich nose comprising hints of citrus fruits, bread, hazelnuts and almonds. A touch of vanilla testifies to the high proportion of Chardonnay while the depth of the Pinot Noir is expressed in the form of red fruits and violets.

A wine obtained from the best Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes harvested and vinified in the traditional manner. This wine embodies, in all its simplicity, the history of the Valpolicella area.
