Recorder virtuoso Maurice Steger and Friends: Music for the Opera Intermissions took place at Dromore Yard, Aglish, Co. Waterford as part of BVOF 2022, featuring three exceptionally talented, world-class musicians; Maurice Steger, Daniele Caminiti, and Mauro Valli performing a programme of Mancini, Purcell, Handel, and Bononcini.
Celebrated as “the world’s leading recorder virtuoso”, Maurice Steger is also a remarkable stage presence. Multi-award-winning classical guitarist and lutenist Daniele Caminiti is dedicated to the study of early music, while international award-winner Mauro Valli is dedicated to playing baroque music on original instruments.
