With spring in the air and the promise of much brighter days ahead, we are delighted to introduce you to our new artistic project, Access All Arias! Filmed in the magical setting of Dromore Yard in Waterford late last year, the programme features a selection of musical treats to bring back some lovely memories from previous Blackwater Valley Opera Festival productions.
Our series starts with ‘Beginnings’, featuring our Artistic Director Dieter Kaegi. Dieter talks about our very first Festival production of Carmen in 2010 (and the famous aria ‘Habanera’) and how BVOF has grown to be one of Ireland’s most loved Festivals.
