BVOF Voices of Ukraine event celebrated by festival goers and local Ukrainian refugees

The BVOF Voices of Ukraine event was attended by 100s of BVOF festival goers, as well as a large group of Ukrainian refugee guests – as part of Blackwater Valley Opera Festival concert series for 2022.
 
BVOF VOICES OF UKRAINE “Blakytne Nebo i Pshenychni Polya” (Blue Skies and Wheat Fields) atDromore Yard, Aglish, Co Waterford featured the internationally accomplished Ukrainian artists, soprano Ruslana Koval, baritone Stanislav Kuflyuk and pianist Iryna Krasnovska.  All ticket proceeds will be donated to UNICEF.
 
The BVOF Voices of Ukraine event was also attended by over 60 Ukrainian refugees who were invited to enjoy this unique musical performanceIreland’s Summer Opera Festival, ending bank holiday Monday, which included 19 events over seven days. Highlights included Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice in the grounds of Lismore Castle, Irish Baroque Orchestra, CoisCéim Dance Theatre, concerts and recitals featuring Giovanni Bellucci, and Maurice Steger, and free open air recitals in Cork and Waterford. blackwatervalleyoperafestival.com
